1.OMAMORI Nose Hair Trimmer for Men Brown
I owned a pair of small scissors for years. Used them in bad lighting, sometimes in the car. Eventually I accepted this was not sustainable and bought a real trimmer.
The OMAMORI nose hair trimmer in brown had been in my cart on and off for a while before I bought it. Nothing specific pushed me over the edge. I think I just got annoyed at myself.
The Setup
It's a small, handheld nose and ear hair trimmer. Battery-operated — one AA, no charging cable to lose. The brown colorway is warmer than most trimmers I've seen, which tend to come in chrome or matte black. Whether that matters to you probably depends on how much time you spend looking at your bathroom shelf. I look at mine a fair amount, so I noticed.
The build is solid plastic. Light. Nothing that feels expensive, but nothing that feels like it'll crack if you drop it either. I've dropped it once. It was fine.
Using It
The trimmer runs quiet and the rotating blade doesn't pull. That was my actual worry going in — I've used trimmers before that grabbed hair instead of cutting it, and it's an unpleasant experience near your sinuses. The OMAMORI cuts cleanly. Slow circles, two passes, done in under a minute. My nose hair has never felt particularly threatened by this process.
It also handles ear hair, which I wasn't specifically shopping for. The head is small enough to work on the outer ear without being awkward. I've used it for that a handful of times since.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
No cleaning brush in the box. You can rinse the head under water, which works, but a small brush would make it faster. I use an old toothbrush. It's a minor thing, but it's the kind of thing you notice when you're standing over a sink trying to get it clean quickly.
Battery life has been fine across several weeks of use. I haven't replaced it yet. Nose hair trimmers don't exactly tax a AA battery, so that's not surprising, but worth noting.
The brown finish is matte plastic. It doesn't pick up fingerprints the way glossy surfaces do, and it doesn't look clinical sitting next to other bathroom stuff. That's genuinely part of why I picked this one over a few others I was considering.
My Take
It trims nose hair without drama and doesn't need to be plugged in. The brown color is an actual differentiator if you're tired of everything in your grooming drawer looking like a medical device. If you want something simple that works without requiring a USB port or a charging routine, this is a reasonable choice.
It's not going to change anything about your life. But it does trim nose hair well, which is what it's for.
